Pros

Quart pot is perfect for roasting a chicken or making oatmeal. You get four good-sized servings, which means lots of leftovers.

No thrills or frills, got this super cheap on black friday last year and i have not been disappointed yet. Product as described and shipped quickly. Don't skip this step, it sears the heck out of you.

The only drawback is that the lid doesn't lock down if you want to transport the food elsewhere. Removable crock makes clean up easy - the most important feature in my book. I seldom use a liner, never have food burn in it unlike past slow cookers.

I tend to use pliers or my teeth when knobs fall off. Growing up in a family where coat hangers doubled as tv antennas and you changed channels with a screwdriver, you learn to adapt.

Cook for 4 to 5 hours on high/6 to 10 on low. Great for sandwiches, tacos & enchiladas. My house is a graveyard of slow cookers.

Cons

It's just not up to expectations for the brand! Broke into 2 pieces). Bought this slow cooker elsewhere. Cost more to send it back than to buy a new one. Tossed it and bought a different brand.

Packaging/appearance

If i didn't add the tape atop of the glue, any oils would have broken down the glue.

I do like that the crock can be removed from the unit and placed in the fridge.
