Pros

Old stow cookers have preset times. This one lets you set it in 30 minute intervals.

The inner pot sits in a recessed part of the base so it's completely flush. The aluminum pot is the only area of contention. This crock pot is great.

Food in pot can be reheated over stovetop oven. Mine goes straight to boiling my food.

This thing is awesome, can't believe the quality for the price. It weighs about half a standard model. Worth every penny.
