Cleaning a vat of oil can be messy. It is simple to clean, easy to use and works exceptionally well. The tank, lid, and basket are all dishwasher safe.

The build construction is pretty good even though it is fairly lightweight. For those occasions this works well. Works great.

The maximum exterior dimensions of the unit are 9 x 16. The side walls are a bit flimsy. In a way i am thankful that i at least tried it, because now i know without a shadow of a doubt that a deep fryer is an absolute no from me.
