Everything looks brand new still and i'm pleased with the functionality. It's easy to assemble and disassemble for washing. Easy to clean and compact for storage.

The flavors that are extracted from the coffee are better retained from the grounds, making a complex and rewarding coffee. I also like the concept of the protected pour spout although you must be very careful when you maneuver the lid to allow the br... Read More

As an added bonus it makes the real hot cocoa by foaming it. It also does a decent job of retaining heat. If you think making your own hot coco sounds fun though, i highly recommend picking this one up.

French press is one of the favorite brewing methods for coffee aficionados.

My only problem with this coffee press is the counter-intuitive engineering when you remove the plunger/strainer from the lid.

Competitiveness

It might not have quite the visual appeal of some of the classic bodum models, but it works.

It comes with a frother for chocolate milk and hot cocoa as well as the press for your coffee.

Update: broke in less than a year.

I owned a bodum chambord press and after five years i accidentally chipped the glass on my counter.
