One thing to be aware of is that the stem must seat correctly in the inside hole of the pot or it will only give you hot water but it explains that in bold letters in the instructions

If you have a little electrical knowhow open the bottom two spannernotched security screws and locate the ceramic thermostat that is labeled 36tmh01 l8020c

Reassemble while ensuring that the retaining bracket holds the thermostat tightly against the chamber if you dont the water temperature will not affect the thermostat as much as the hot air from the heating element nearby causing it to trip way too prematurely

If that does not help or if you have a gfci trip issue then replace the thermostat

I have been through 4 drip pots all of them quite expensive and not worth getting a replacement through the warranty

Because of that i decided to try one at my house but didnt want to get one like hers that you had to put on the stove and remember to take off when you thought it was done
