Pros

Base, cord, and connectors stay cool. It brews fast and keeps the coffee warm without a burned taste. Easy to fill coffee basket and in coffee pot for water.

Hamilton beach makes a great percolator. It percolates quickly. You can make 12 cups and just pour out the grounds and reheat the coffee.

Cons

Boiling water steams out of the spout the entire time it's perking. The lid rumbles around making the grounds spill up and into the rest of the pot. Two is for the fact that it's a 12 cup percolator, but it only holds 8 cups.

This coffeepot is a real disappointment. In about two to three months the plug deteriorates on the inside. Coffee sometimes perks but just lukewarm and very weak.
