Pros
Blue light makes watching water boil fun. It boils water so quickly and i love the auto-shutoff. I love how sleek it looks… the blue backlight is a nice modern touch.
New kettle works fine, but the top part doesn't seal quite like the old one did. It is very convenient.
Cons
It's too slow, entirely too dangerous, and requires constant upkeep. The product on switch is very light weight and flimsy. The base is flimsy, but you get what you pay for. It's super simple.

And for those that complain about the lid not opening fully squeeze the lock buttons and it locks fully upright 90° fully vertical
