Pros & Cons
Pros
Single-serve drip coffee maker makes coffee more approachable to the average drinker. Easy to clean, easy to clean and super simple operation. Only coffee drinker in the house so i only need 1 cup at a time and this coffeemaker is perfect. Remember to... Read More
It solves all 3 of my problems and then goes for extra credit by being incredibly affordable! I am overjoyed to have taken a chance and discovered that they were wrong.
Add between 8-14oz of water to back reservoir, measure about1. Put coffee in the filter, put water in the reservoir, press the brew button. We have a drain strainer that catches everything so no grounds go down the sink. Rinses before your first use.
This is easy to do and takes the complexity out of coffee making. It’s super easy to use.
The drip plate comes out and it's very easy to wipe out. Pods/capsules are expensive, so we use the supplied no paper needed filter.
Cons
The next gen is flimsy, cheap plastic, scoop is harder to scoop and clean. Water reservoir harder to access/pour water in to and you can’t stop the brew mid-way. Coffee grounds splash up all over the inside and end up in your coffee cup.
The cost for the quality is exorbitant. This only reinforces a quality issue.
Highlights
Quality
I love this coffee maker bc my 16oz travel mug fits perfectly into it and it fills it to the brim every time.
This works well and it has held up well for our needs.
Dump out the grounds and wash the inside after each use.
Hated the k cups and the waste of them.
Price
Perfect for my mother, no one else drinks coffee and this one is convenient and inexpensive to use.
Ust as expected for such a low price.
This doesn't need the k-cup so saves money!
I wasn’t crazy about the $$$ but as i searched i discovered single serve coffee makers can have a reasonable $.
Competitiveness
Another brand made it so you had to use it's brand k-cups.

Two notes 1 yes there is some splatter but i find it minimal and manageable 2 the instructions are super clear that you should not fill the scoop above the max line or the water above the max line
