Pros
It's perfect for brewing a single cup. Adjustable base for regular mugs is a plus.
Some reviews complain about the splatter but have not had that issue. And secondly, i really wish it had a timer!
It's a workhorse that gets the job done. Nice dual setting for regular and bold. The stainless is so shiny. It’s stylish, and the stainless steel looks awesome with all my kitchen appliances.

Based on the other reviews, it is not worth the hassle of trying to invoke the warranty. My refund has not been issued to date.
For the high price tag, this is ridiculous. This inconsiderable mickey mouse piece of * is a waste of money!

It is a great machine for brewing one cup of coffee at a time!
Finally stopped working everyday after 16 years.
Its description as "stainless steel" is borderline misleading, as it only has superficial stainless steel cladding.

I bought it in a charity auction for $65!
Packaging/appearance
On top of that, my machine came in a plain cardboard box, without the usual retail packaging.
Kind of like how refurbished items are packaged.
Competitiveness
It pales by comparison to my old starbucks machine or the nespresso coffee maker that's sitting next to it.

I originally purchased one of these from amazon warehouse deals described as usedgood and it was not as described and in bad shape so i returned it

I used a 2tbsp measuring spoon and leave it in my coffee jar

I dump out the grounds and rinse the ground cup when i make coffee next and rinse the cup underneath every few times
