Pros

Personal size blender is powerful enough to make smoothies and shakes. I blend canned cat food so that it is very smooth for my elderly cats. I make a smoothie every morning, (frozen blueberries, yogurt, frozen spinach) this is perfect for what i need... Read More

This is the 3rd one i bought. It's refurbished and like brand new! Good quality for you money. Oddly it is not available on amazon at the time of this review update.

Cons

After at least six years, that blender broke and i assumed i would have another winner. Only used it a handful of times.

The only solid thing i’ve used it to blend is frozen berries. If you have anything heavy like protein powder or some similar powder to mix, this unit is not a very good option.

The lid is lightweight bendy plastic and the lid itself especially is very flimsy. It also has a sort of crevice that is very difficult to clean inside of in the lid. The lids do not screw on/stay on the cups securely.

It's been less than a year and the motor is already burnt out. Will return and would like a refund. Hamilton need to discontinue this thing!

There are no leaks, it is easy to clean, and even blends ice easily.

Works fine to blend protein shakes with a liquid, but it’s not strong enough to puree fruit or veggies into it.

Works fine with powders and fruits, but the small motor struggles against ice and frozen items.

Price

A long overdue purchase, and at a great price - half that of the bullet.

If it breaks, i will buy it again since the price is reasonable.

I ordered this to take to work and admit that i didn’t have much hope that it would be that good for the price.
