Water boils at a lower temp at higher elevations and at 212f at sea level. I now am able to have poached eggs that turn out perfect every time. No more heavy pots of boiling water to make hard boiled eggs.

Product is not conducive to cook your eggs with steam. Cooks poached eggs till they are like a hard boiled egg. Egg bites always comes out watery.

Watching the egg cooker until the light turns off or having to figure out how long it takes for this cooker to poach an egg is frustrating and inconvenient. Do not recommend.
