Although this cooker also roasts up to a 6pound chicken and cooks ricegrains those functions even though they work are not ideal

Second for rice and grains you need to cook enough to at least cover the bottom of the pan you will want to use that function for larger amounts only

Although it is technically dishwashersafe hb warns that it should not be washed on the sanitize cycle because it may get too hot
