Pros

I love that it comes with different beater attachments. Ironically, i have arthritis and my hands can be painful; however, i like to grab the hand mixer rather than pulling out my large mixer.

Cons

Even at the slowest speed it runs too fast. Lowest speed is way too powerful on the lowest speed.

The traditional mixer inserts rust. This causes the mixer to not work properly as half the dough is rising up and over the beater tops. You must stop the mixer and scrape down all the batter so it doesn't go into the holes and give you more headaches.... Read More

It smells like metal and chemicals, it is extremely distasteful and sours the whole baking or cooking experience. It starts to lag, and smell bad after just a few minutes.

Short beaters make it difficult to eject beaters. Poor, unsafe design.
