Pros

The morton meat slicer works. Good uniform thickness on all slices. Great kitchen appliance.

The motor is good and the blade is very sharp and robust, so i'm keeping the machine. Sharpening stone purchase is separate. Cuts very good.

Cons

This meat slicer is a pain to clean. Did not slice meats well at all. No safety features, no cover, and so easy to make a mistake to slice a finger.

The machine is not built well. It barely rotates. The gear skips and grinds with the slightest load.

Guage plate appears to be warped. Vertical gap adjustment plate is not parallel to the slicing disk causing groove, markings on the sliced product. Cannot hold thickness properly.
