Pros

This is a very cool feature that works well. I would have liked that feature better if it was a self- retractable storage area for the cord.

Hamilton beach coffee grinder is a very nice one. Works great for grinding spices and nuts. Perfect for grinding rosemary.

Small but mighty. This grinder has some features that i appreciate:* quieter operation - the old ones, including my burr coffee grinder, are quite a bit noisier than this one. And, it is so quiet!

Cons

The lid has to be twisted on just right for the grinder to work. The motor is very loud and vibrates to the point of being so uncomfortable it almost hurts. Hard to get lid on and locked in place.

Quality

I love the feature of being able to remove the cup with grounds in it from the grinder, much less mess than other grinders.

The grind consistency actually allows us to use fewer coffee beans with equally good results.

The part of the lid that locks into place is easily damaged, and mine broke about a year and a half in.

Negatives is that it's incredibly loud, rattles when running, and the cord is annoyingly stiff.

Price

Overall, a great value and a reliable product.

For $20, i would say it served its purpose.

I'm hoping it was just a fluke or had a hairline crack that wasn't visible on unpacking.

Competitiveness

It works as expected; order a better model for xmax from the same manufacturer.
