Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a blade grinder and not burr for those who care. Grinder works great, i use it 1-2 times daily. I like fact it has removable grinding bowi however the downside is weak coupling.
The bottom also pops up to wind the chord if you prefer to store it after use. It's not difficult but requires the cover to be lined up. It takes awhile to soften the latch that turns the machine on.
My favorite thing is that it is much quieter than i expected so i can use it at 5:30 am without waking my toddler in our small house. The 1 improvement i would have liked are more granular speed settings.
The cups are dishwasher safe, but we prefer to handwash. The grinding cup is easy to remove and clean. The cup your pour the beans into is removable, making pouring out and cleaning pretty easy. It's very easy to use and multi settings based on french... Read More
I love the ceremony of making a good quality coffee and all it entails. Only one wish more that the thing would indestructible.
Cons
Hb coffee grinder is very difficult to use. Lid is cheap plastic. I have to hold the lid to get it to grind the beans and the bowl sticks. The grinding cover is extremely difficult to lock.
Highlights
Quality
Super easy to use and does a great job on grind levels (course grind for pepper was outstanding).
Grinder works very well, has several settings to grind to your liking
Lasted about a year and a half before coupling rounded out and failed.
We had an old model of this grinder and it worked for years before it finally gave out.
Price
For the price, this is a winner so far.
This is the best of inexpensive grinders i've come across, very happy with it.
Amazon warehouse sold it for a couple bucks off as used.
I decided to look for a cheap one here on amazon since i didn't want to spend a lot of money being i wasn't sure i'd like the i... Read More
Packaging/appearance
I received some whole coffee beans as a gift, but didn't have a coffee grinder.
The packaging was a paper envelope and the box was beat up.
On the cleaning aspect, i learned about that when i opened the box.
Competitiveness
This was a consideration compared to others that had three plastic pieces inside that often appear to get broken with use.
