Pros
Digital controls are simple and the countdown timer is convenient. The only real downside is the lid doesn't seem too durable. We're considering purchasing a third one for my daughter's dorm.
The rice is fluffy and easy to make. I have zero complaints. My expectation is to enjoy trouble-free rice cooking for the next 3~4 years.
The speed at which it cooks food is impressive, making meal prep a breeze. The presets cannot be decreased. Comes with steamer and rice spoon.
Cons
No replacement parts online specifically speak to my model 8cup hb. Unless they change and ship with 3-5 replacement parts. Failed miserably. There doesn't seem to be a method of contacting the manufacturer.
It is preprogrammed to cook white rice for 45 min and brown rice at 60. It takes 45 minutes to make rice, and it comes out a sticky, gummy mess! Couldn't cook rice. Cooking rice and walked away to finish a chore.

It's solidly built, it's like a full stainless steel body and the interface is very simple.
Overall i really love this product it has made cooking so much easier for me and i’m super excited to make more than rice with it.
It has a slow cooker function and also delayed start function which would be perfect for them.
Never had an issue with this device, follow the instructions, wash your rice, make sure to add msg to the finished product!
Price
I think is the best for the price.

It cooked the rice just as expected but it was faster than my old rice maker.
