This coffeemaker brews delicious coffee, it's fast, and the thermal carafe keeps it piping hot without that burned taste. It can be placed directly on the breakfast table without fear of scorching anything.

We were sold on the idea of the thermal carafe - nice concept. The gage in the back is worthless, and there are no marks on the carafe. The product is not worth the plastic its molded from.

It leaks when it brews. When brewing into the carafe, a large amount of scalding hot steam emits. This causes condensation on the unit itself and all over my counter, walls, and underside of my shelf. It is cheap and does not have pause and brew.

Hamilton beach knows this product has multiple problems and like any greedy corporation they wont fix it until it becomes a financial problem. This product is simply unreliable. Save your money and buy a regular coffee maker.

It is cumbersome to pour the water into the machine. It is impossible to pour coffee without a major dribble down the side of the carafe. It's fairly impossible to fill it with grounds without getting grounds on the center divider.
