Pros

Very satisfied. You won't be disappointed by it. I love the lid that has no problem with breaking like the others that have a spring loaded release.

Clear glass heats up much faster than metal kettle. Easy to clean with a little vinegar.

Hamilton beach glass electric tea kettle. Easy to use and clean, this tea kettle is a fantastic blend of efficiency and style.

Cons

The base is not level. I am sorry i made this purchase. I do not think anyone should purchase this tea kettle.

The spout has a chip in it now, so i need to replace it. The design for the top is faulty, needs both hands to open the top. It is not durable at all.

The company warranty says you're responsible for shipping both ways if you want them to fix or replace it. The markings on the carafe are only on one side, with the handle to the right. The warranty is for one year.
