Pros

Gooseneck spout makes it easier to pour the water into tea cups without spilling. Makes it very easy to brew pour over coffee as well as french press.

This electric gooseneck is a steal. It checks all the performance boxes. There are a few cons for us that may not bother others.

For me it is perfect. This kettle is fantastic. Highly recommend. Recap is this is a nice kettle and we are content with it.

User experience. Soooo easy to clean. And yes, the difference between 1. L to 1. L is noticeable.

Cons

It overshoots the selected temperature by about 10 degrees. Hold mode only turns the heater on when the temp drops a few degrees below your setting. After seven months, the already cheap-feeling, squishy power button no longer works.

Follow up after almost 2. Hours seems like it should have been avoidable. Disappointed is an understatement. Would not recommend.

The goose neck paired with the upward handle is actually quite nice to pour with.

That's especially true with this one because my man hands disagree with the top opening.

Price

I don't know if it's accurate, but for the price, totally with it.

The priced increased over $10 now and i wish it's still the same price.

I am truly amazed at how fast it heats the water.

Packaging/appearance

Just don't get your hand too close to the vent holes in the lid.

As it turns out, my water filter needed replacing and it was not fault of the kettle.

Competitiveness

So much easier to do a pourover than with a regular kettle.

I bought this to use with my chemex.
