Pros & Cons
Pros
The on button is built into the number of cups selection knob. The grind selector is also a silver-colored knob but is on one side of the grinder. I mainly make cold brew and use the coarsest setting, but i occasionally drip brew or use the french pre... Read More
The grinder is a very attractive stainless steel - very impressive looking. Runs a bit quieter than my other. It is a larger grinder, so it takes up a decent amount of room on my counter, but it is stylish so it looks great on my coffee station.
The burr grinder is much easier to use, manage, keep clean etc than my old blade grinder. The grind is even and there are no large chunks. It makes great coffee, uniform grinds evenly without any complaint.
It does a decent job. That's pretty darn fantastic, if you ask me.
Starbuck and duncan donuts are two of my favorite places to get coffee. This grinder gives you the perfect grind on your coffee bean.
Cons
The coffee grounds spray out before they get to the canister, leaving a huge mess on the counter. Yea, the inconsistent grind. Adjustable grind is a myth. If you’re looking for a good espresso grind this is not it.
Highlights
Quality
I like the design, it’s well built and does grind the beans well
Great little grinder, works quieter than our last one and does not make a mess like others.
However -- my morning routine is to grind whole beans for aeropress, which catches all particle in its filter paper disc.
Even at the coarsest setting it will put out plenty of fine particles that will go right through the screen on a french press.
Price
It was a great value for the price.
The price was decent for the things it does well.
Competitiveness
It is really small compared to other grinders i have bought over the years.

Can’t really complain other than the fact that the seal between the catch and the grinder doesn’t always seem to work
