Pros
Slices really thin, perfect. As in the video it slices salami nice and thin, adjustment is easy. Disassembly of the blade for cleaning is easy with a coin. Cuts, sliced meat.
Cons
The machine works but it has a lot of drawbacks. It doesn't lift high enough to put a catch plate under.

I don’t care for the plastic but that’s why it’s the price it is.

I have granite counters so just getting them damp and pushing down works for me but if not you could warm them with a hot cloth to soften them up a bit

However and this may be due to my countertop i find that sometimes the unit slips around slightly
