Like any machine sometimes the ice builds up stopping the sensor therefore saying the machine is full when its not

I am constantly refilling my glass therefore i always make sure to scoop the ice away from the sensor to avoid the occurence

I wouldnt recommend this for parties however as it doesnt make the ice fast enough for such

It works well but you have to ensure to move the ice out of it and put it on the refrigerator otherwise the ice melts fast

So you can turn it on leave for a few hours and have ice when you get back instead you will find it still running because the ice have melt
