Pros & Cons
Pros
Hamilton blender is simple lid and simple button. Hp motor spinning blades at 140 mph is no joke. Unless cranked all the way up, it is not bad.
Super solid build. It is a taller machine but it fits under my cupboards on my counter. Incredibly solidly made with metal gears and more power than you will probably need.
The 64 ounce jar is the right size for me, mainly because i've found that nobody in my family likes smoothie leftovers. With the right amount of liquid and patience will puree dates without leaving any lumps.
My only caveat is i am a little unsure about the usefulness of the pulse mode. I also have a vitamix clone which has a pulse mode that starts lightning fast - it has a powerful starter capacitor.
The jar is shatter resistant and bpa free - but so are those of other blenders, namely blendtec, vitamix and ninja. The 5-paragraph warranty (available on the hb site and in the manual in the box) appears to be normal.
Cons
Awd does no screening to insure the products being resold from a return actually work. Stopped working after 8 uses.

Having tried the lower cost blender previously with mixed results, i decided to buy one that i thought would be worth the price.
