If you do not begin turning fairly soon after pushing in on the button the timer will automatically set itself to 400 hours and stop flashing

Most people will probably be a little late turning the dial and so you will have to shut it back off or unplug it and start over

I got the intellittime mode settings showing how many hours to cook but i kept turning the knob trying to get the setting to go to the manual modes and it didnt

I read that the display flashes when the setting can be changed which is why i couldnt at first get it to go the manual modes it had stopped flashing and remains lit after the beep and cooking starts
