Cons
The general cheapness of the product is apparent from the moment of unpacking the knife. The poor english on the packaging is another obvious giveaway.

It opens with a satisfying and positive click into place and the blade is rigid with no sideways play.
The blade is a beautiful piece of artwork blended with engineering, you will never break it!
If all perkin knives are of this quality in the words of the t800 "i'll be back"
The leather pouch is robustly made and is useful when travelling, when the knife has to be put into a rucksack.

) reasonable value if a genuine damascus steel blade.
However i will cover inner stud to prevent this, apart from this it's a lovely looking knife,happy to own it, but maybe a bit expensive.

Not fantastically sharp but adequate for my purpose

The knife as a whole needs some light finishing to refine the product remove sharp edges to handle etc

The brass piece on the handle is a little sharp to the touch at the very end where your little finger grips it

The opening and closing action isnt as smooth as i expected feels a little fuzzy and the blade spring mechanism is a tad weak the blade closes way too easily when using it

The stud on sheath is rubbing on the walnut and damaging it
