Hoses have a flexible rubber inner hose and a protective outer sheath. Cleanly cut hose (rubber hose and fabric covering). Of course the inner hose (i. Blue hose) is what holds the hose together.

It takes a bit of pushing and tugging to get this done. Perseverance and patience is key. These things are not only easy, they're intuitive.

It will inevitably fail, it either ends up with a stress hole somewhere in the middle of the hose or the ends untwist and they leak.
