Pros
The heating is distributed 5 inches from the edge on the long sides and 9 inches on the short sides. Love the long 10 foot cord too. It stays on long enough overnight with its 10 hour time auto off.
She no longer has to use a million blankets to keep warm, this one replaces most all her other blankets. It also has a couple different temps to choose from.
The softness is amazing and it’s a beautiful blanket.
Cons
The blanket sheds fleece everywhere. It gets all over your clothes and skin, making it quite uncomfortable and itchy to use. But its a complete dealbreaker for me.
It's so disappointing because this one has worked the longest out of any other one i've had. It just keeps flashing. Had this less than 3 months and randomly got the blinking red light of doom.

The only downside and this is a big downside is not being able to put it through the wash because the cover does not detach from the electric parts
