I love this dollhouse for it's simplicity and openness. My granddaughter loves the easy access to each room in the house. Comes with enough furniture/accessories to put some in each room, although you can buy add-ons to make it more complete/full.
If you have a impact driver vs the hex wrench supplied with the house it’s so much easier to assemble both time wise and on your fingers, lol. The option to move the staircases and balcony are clever and will continue to many options for creative play... Read More
Tastefully designed with excellent construction and build. Eco friendly, solar panels, clean wood design, european looking. Really like the solar collectors.
Got it on sale for about $125 with accessories. Very pleased and highly recommend.
Cons
The dollhouse is cheap, flimsy and not staying in our home. Was missing the flooring pieces when received. There is no set of stairs to get from the kitchen/tv room to the bedroom.
This is the first hape product i am just less than thrilled about. There are gaps at the connections that apparently cause everything to be a little off. These are cosmetic issues and don't affect play, but are annoying to me, who spent $125 on the pr... Read More

Very sturdy construction, no splinters or rough edges.
So far, it seems of very good quality and durability.
The doll house has been knocked over a few times by my daughter and not one piece broke!
She is 20 months and says “open door, close door, up stairs, down stairs, poo-poo, bubble bath, make num-nums” (in kitchen).

I even bought the modern family, grandparents, and the hape brand car as well.
I went with the hape all seasons over a similar product from a competitor because i thought the hape furniture was nicer.
It a big doll house too when compared to other wooden doll houses.

There are some pretty small pieces but he is old enough to know not to put them in his mouth if you have small children under the age of two you’ll need to be careful about that
