Its too heavy to lift the base and balance it on the arms on your own

Im 5ft 4 with knee issues but could manage everything else with ease but something or someone would get damaged if the base slipped at this stage

The only thing i would say about the bed itself is while the dividers in the storage part are attached to the bed the base is just three sheets of hardboard which lie on the floor and slide around they are not in any way attached to the frame

However i do not recommend dealing with happy beds unless you dont really care a when the item arrives or b how many attempts it takes

The company eventually admitted it had been damaged in transit after repeatedly accusing me of having signed for it already

The supplier isnt so goodthe delivery took weeks and happy beds arent interested just standard fob off blaming a crap haulage companyalso amazon charge £9
