Anyway, i've been using it now for a couple weeks and it's a good product.
I find the orico system easy to install (used on multiple computers) and easy to use like any usb drive.
With the orico docking station, i formatted a new 2tb drive.
Competitiveness
I created a fusion drive using a 1tb ssd and a 3 tb hard drive.
The orico station allows me to swap the drives easily by powering down the docking station and inserting the 2nd drive into the source bay.
4) ensure that the toggle button (beside the power button) is set to pc before hitting the power button on the orico station.

I realised that the disk had too many bad sectors and therefore could not be recognised by the system

I believe that i can only access the source drive from my computer meaning that i cannot copy files from the source bay to the target bay using the computer

Recommendations1 review fully the documentation provided though improvement required2 when installing the unit place your drive into the bay labelled source if you want to keep your data

If the drive has data on it you should be able to read it when it connects

I got this device because my old computer died and i wanted to salvage the files from my old hdds i wasnt sure what failed on the computer but i figured for the price of this device i could easily find out if the drives were good and i could then transfer files
