Pros & Cons
Pros
This grinder is a fraction of the price of the rip-off hipster indy devices that are charging hundreds and hundreds of pounds to do the same thing. Need to test and tighten to determine fineness of the grind.
Highlights
Quality
It seems pretty sturdily built so am very hopeful it will last quite a long time.
It works well - it’s sturdy, grinds fine enough for my espresso, take up little space.
An uneven 'grind' results in a poorer brew and not such a good cup of coffee.
I did managed to pull 2 very good shots, with full flavour and texture out of 30-40 shots that i did.
Price
I find i'm using it a few times a week when i want a really nice cup of coffee to enjoy, and for £32 - i can justify that.
And you will get real good value and quality by getting this.
00 seven days a week this is a real problem.
Hard to beat for the price, certainly almost anything else at this price point will be junk.
Packaging/appearance
The only tiny negative so far is the container - there is the little catchment cup surrounded by an outer shell.
Competitiveness
I had no hesitation in replacing it with the same brand when it eventually wore out.
I get amazingly good results when grinding “medium fine” that rivals my much more expensive grinders.
It’s so much better than the electric blade grinder that i’ve got, which gives a really uneven grind in comparison.

I also use an electric coffee grinder aminly for use in a drip filter or large and small cafetieres but it is not so good for espresso so have until now bought readyground espresso coffee so once my current stock is reduced i will probably mainly use the manual grinder instead

I wrote grinder because it doesnt grind but simply smashes the beans up so you get anything from fine dust to quite large pieces
