Pros & Cons
Pros
The ceramic version is better, but potentially breakable.
The melitta has a tighter funnel than a keurig. The tighter funnel means less beans are needed to make a strong cup of coffee. This is why the flavor of the coffee is different between the two. It is a great substitute for using those pods to make cof... Read More
Love my new hario pur over drip coffee maker. Used ceramic drippers for years. I wish i had purchased this stainless one from the beginning. The dripper's design is also worth noting.
The transparent plastic not only looks sleek but allows for visibility of the coffee as it brews. Whether you’re a seasoned barista or a home brew enthusiast, this dripper is an excellent investment.
Cons

Packaging/appearance
Again, product is great, and hopefully yours gets shipped in more sensible packaging.
Ordered two of these, mailer was torn, both product boxes (thin card stock material) were beat up, and one of the items was bro... Read More
Competitiveness
Both coffee drippers are size 02, however they obviously cannot use the same paper filters because the melitta uses standard 02... Read More
What is interesting though is that the coffee drips through the melitta at almost the same rate as the hario.
