Pros

It was installed on my ruger gunsite scout and functions great on the bench. Takes the beating on my 7mm-08 and keeps me right on target. The front end of the rifle is wider than normal because it is a heavy barrel.

Easy to install and easy to use and rugged. Bottom line its rugged, durable and it just works!

Cons

This is the 1a2-br but that is not the image on this page. It is not hinged and the legs are not notched with visible spring.

I mounted this on my coyote rifle and it was a perfect fit and very sturdy

Very sturdy and fits my mini 14 well.

The legs are spring loaded and retract when unlocked.

So i splurged and spent the few extra bucks on the harris engineering bipod.

Price

Just what i was needing and wanted at a good price.

I do very much like this bi pod for its price and quality.

Don't bother wasting money on cheaper ones.

Swivel is a upgrade u pay a premium for that no one uses.

Competitiveness

In my opinion the 1a2 bench rest 6-9 model is by far the best of their rests.

Although i have not done a side by side comparison which for me would be a hassle, i am very pleased with what i bought.

The thought was that if all of the other knockoffs are claiming to be "harris style" maybe that's a testament to the harris brand.

Hands-down a top-notch product… don't buy less than a harris, you'll be disappointed and end up buying harris in the end…
