Pros & Cons
Pros
This "retro" edition is so much clearer and easier to follow for her. Reminds me when i was a kid this one has 4 players compared to the newer version with 3.
The game is sturdy and at great value for a great price.
Arrived in timely manner and in excellent condition. It is suitable for my kids' ages. Still, it isn't costly, so this is ok.
Cons
The colors are not fantastic, and the game is literally turning the wheel and moving your pieces. My 4 year old (and me too) frequently get bored and frustrated because it can just go on and on.
Highlights
Quality
Good gift that contributes to child development; unlike some other toys that quickly break or need batteries.
Its tactile, many different ways to play with it and not too messy for grandma to clean up !
My only criticism is that the player pieces and the numbered spinner are low quality cardboard and not very durable.
But i have the newer version and it broke in the first few days.
Price
It's like winning the lottery, but instead of money, you get the sweet satisfaction of conquering those slippery chutes.
Packaging/appearance
Perfect christmas gift for my 2 youngest grandchildren and even better for family game night
The box for storing the game is a little flimsy.
The board folds into quarters now, instead of in half, so it’s easier to pack in a small suitcase, and store in its smaller, square box.
