Put the gymnasts arms upwards press the slide button on the back of the gymnast place the gymnast in the slot and pull it back until it clicks

To release the gymnast simply press the yellow button

Its relatively easy to build 3 pieces but doesnt then seem to come apart so storage could be an issue
