The board is bigger as are the squares of the grid. The stairs tile and the wide block tiles have an alternate art on the reverse side. There is a tile with a gold symbol that i can't find any reference to, so i assume it's to mark who's turn it is.
A kickstarter was done on habraso pulse to get this game remade. The sculpts are better, the packaging fantastic but yet it is still very true to the original. This is far better than the original!
Cons
Overall a disappointment, especially for the exorbitant price. For a brand new game, at $115, that is a totally unacceptable state for it to be shipped in.
Highlights
Quality
However, now it has higher quality miniatures than the original and i get to share the sun with my kids.
It's right up there with the base game system.
The fimir has been replaced by abomination with the same stats and all references of chaos have been replaced with dread.

Price
Finding the original set at a reasonable price is difficult, even when incomplete.
Shipping
Collectors beware, not sure how this happened as the shipping box was undamaged.
My copy was shipped in one of those white amazon shipping bags.
This game is wonderful and i’m glad for it but really and truly- pick up your shipping game.
Packaging/appearance

I look forward to purchasing more of your products.
That alone would make these reprints worth the price of admission imo.
They're also a little larger than the original.
In my opinion hasbro / avalon hill have done better with this re-release than they did in the 90s.
