Pros

My kids love this game. They get excited when it's game night and it's normally one of the first ones that we grab. My 6 year old loves it.

The game is a very simple strategy game where you visit different islands and dice battle another player for treasure. My kids favorite part of the game is the ship dice roller tool by far. They love putting the dice in the ship and pushing the lever ...  Read More

The game goes quickly depending on how you play, which is great for parents to be able to control the length of the game. The only downside is that the game goes by really quickly, especially with more players. It's quick and is mostly luck. The game ...  Read More

Cons

This game is disappointing in so many ways. There really isn't any strategy involved. Not thought through very well. Though it's completely pointless to really leave pirates anyways.

Quality

Easy instructions and quick set up and clean up.

My 4 year old tolerates it, picked up on the rules quickly enough.

My only "knock" is that the boat you put together (that holds the coins) doesn't stay put and tends to fall apart.

Missing pieces and replacements that don’t fit.

Price

For me, it wasn't quite worth $14, because i prefer our games have educational value.

Not sure why this is called risk but still fun for little kids

If youre looking for a version of risk that is geared for little kids you might want to look elsewhere

The pieces that shoot the dice are fun too although we usually opt to just roll the dice
