The mesh is nice on this strainer but the handle is so awkward that it is very hard to hold and maneuver. They look nice but spot welds on handle and guard broke i short time.

The handle is strong and the thin mesh is perfect for keeping grains in and allowing free flow of water.
They are made strong- not flimsy metal.
Mesh is just right, handle great width, very durable rim around mesh.
