I ordered replacement nutsbolts from bolt depot size 516 x 18tpi and snugged up the new nutsbolts and the bike works great

I still think it is a great buy for the money and my son loves it but the nuts and bolts it comes with are made of a really cheap soft metal

Also in taking the bike apart i observed there are stops at 45 degrees left and right intentionally welded into the handlebar stem to prevent your child from turning the handlebars more than 45 degrees

If he drops it hard the bars are off centered
