There is a safety on this one that will have to be replaced if you ever get the cooker over pressure

Also i am afraid that it would be unwise to apply too too much heat to the cooker when bringing it up to pressure lest this also should lead to stress on the cookers base

It takes a little while to become familiar with the way the cooker responds to your own particular stove so you have to pay good attention to it when first using it

This isnt something that can be changed or avoided but if youre planning on doing multiple canning operations in a row without cooling the hot o ring wont seal

Its virtually impossible to open this pressure cooker until all the internal pressure is released
