Disclaimer here i have not lived in india and made tea in a “typical tea vessel” so maybe there are better options but i learnt traditional tea prep from my mom and all vessels we get in the us either have a heave base that takes forever to heat up or has other metals with the steel that causes discoloration and heavy staining

You scrape it and there is only more steel

The other issue is that i do not have a gas cooktop so finding vessels to get to the temp required for certain types of indian cooking is hard and tea is a daily necessity for me
