The reason for switching to a cartridge filter is the fact that due to a faulty design of the ec75 i had to continually vacuum my pool to remove the diatomaceous earth that leaked back into the pool overnight when the filter was not running

I have replaced the elbow assembly with check valve several times and the last time i did it the housing inside the filter chamber cracked rendering the filter useless

The “2” on the end of the model number means 2” inletoutlet

If you don’t need the 2” inletoutlet just get the c1200 model with the 1
