Pros
Chlorinator works well with the 3 inch tablets and 3 inch puck. Good chlorine numbers, and no algae. Floating dispensers aren't perfect either. Spare parts on hand are a great idea as well as replace with new if questionable.
Cons
They're an obnoxious company for continuing to produce something that they know is going to malfunction and need replacement. Don’t waste your money.
This is supposed to be the top option for off-line ig chlorinators. There was a leak coming from the bottom of this chlorinator. After a few years or less, it has several pin holes and sprays chlorine out 3 feet.
It has to be factory defect for it to crack on sidewall. The poor design has never been corrected. Hayward is well aware of this design flaw.
The only way to open it is to basically smash the top off with a hammer. I'll have to find an effective way to plug the two holes that i drilled in my plumbing.

Other than that, for $115, it does it job and does it well.
