While i'm happy to have found a replacement for the part i needed, i'm not thrilled with the price, but it gets the job done.
A little pricey, but worth it in quality.
Its too bad it didn't come with the original filter but it is an amazing advancement!
Local pool store said i had to go with the original style, not sure why as this one fit perfectly.

Just what i needed after overtightening mine.
I am giving this 5 stars because it is very well made, like most hayward products.
The one on amazon seemed to be priced the best.

Every time after cleaning the filter the original clamp ring was a real hassle to reinstall

Too much pressure was on the old style bolt causing the bolt to slightly bend as you torque it down

Same issue with making sure the clamp is fully seated but the torquing is the the hard part

Appears the bolt assembly is around 28 if you want a second boltnut for later

The old the original clampseal kit for my hayward pool filter was a nightmare the original oring seal always seemed a bit too big and i had to struggle with it in order to get a proper seal between the top and bottom shells of the filter housing
