I cannot rate for durability but the pump was a great buy the amazon price.
The price was great also, every other heater i looked at were any where between $2,500.

Free shipping included while others are 100 bucks cheaper but get you in shipping fees.
Pilot was the shipping company that delivered it.
Packaging/appearance
Was well packed in a cardboard container and on a pallet.
Installation documentation did not include how to remotely control from pool automation but a bit of digging on the web filled in the gaps.

I think it will work fine on a larger pool (13k gal or less) with only degrees/hour likely decreasing.
