Pros

Used on a hayward pro-grid de 60 filter. Easy to install took about 10 minutes to switch the valve out with no tools. Just remember to be careful with the glue and remove the valve assembly when gluing the piping to the body of the valve.

Cons

The center steel rod in this valve corrodes quickly, and leaks within 6-12 months after installation. It almost always leaks. Do not buy from this vendor.

Got this because my old spider backwash valve cracked and was leaking for the longest time.

Depressurize the system, pull the valve, check for contamination in the threads and such, then reinstall.

I then realized i could get the entire assembly through amazon, from the manufacturer for half the price.

Works as designed for a fair price

Amazon was much cheaper than pool supply store if your doing the install yourself.
