Pros

Works fine, doesn't leak. I love being able to stop water dripping out from the pool if im working on the pump. No more water leakage.

Seems solid and works smoothly. Came in a timely manner as promised. Great customer service and super fast shipping.

Exactly as described, replaces my existing unit that cracked after 20 years. As described and easy to install. Pic is of installed new part.

Cons

Threw it out and replaced it with a standard 1 1/2 inch pvc break away fitting. Had to send this back due to a defective gasket.

This was installed professionally by a pool company and leaked right after installation. Now going to have to drain down 20,000 gallons and start over. Both of them have leaks on the female end and there are also cracks in the unit.

My above ground pool has two of these valves (filter intake and outage) and after 9 years of use, the handles broke.

The one it replaced i had for a very long time and it developed a inside crack and the shut off handle broke when turning it.

A little pricey for a ball valve, but worth it imho.

Could have been cheaper but overall good product

Works perfectly and came in a timely manner as promised.

The only thing i didn't like is that it didn't ship prime.

Had to wait almost a week to get it at a snails pace and i needed this part badly for our pool.
