Pros

The connector has a pilot sleeve which aligns and screws together very easily. No more wrestling with taking hoses off of barbs, this easily unscrews. Perfect for my pool return hose connection.

Cons

Seemed to work fine last year, but now leaks. Inaccurate size. The o ring is about a thick as a sheet of paper.
