The pressure gauge is sitting at 10psi and i can see a huge difference with the amount of water being moved.

More so than with the previous 1.

The hayward was about 4x the price, but it's appears to be worth it.
Competitiveness
Prior to this purchase i had a 20 year old 1hp sta-rite pump that i have been fixing over and over.
You can't go wrong with hayward products.
Request return of date 6 oct 2018 be extended 30 days for the additional pump.
I purchased this pump almost two years ago and it has worked very well in my 10,000 gallon inground pool.
